Lost River Cave officially opens 'Charlie Miller Butterfly Habitat'

Staff members and counselors waited outside the center’s gates with signs as Anna Miller and her mother, Lindsey Miller-Voss pulled up for the camp’s family weekend.

According to Bowling Green Police and WKU Police, it happened on University Blvd just past Old Morgantown Road just after 5:30 p.m.

Over the years, Octagon Hall has served as a school, a hospital during the Civil War, a stop on the Underground Railroad and today it stands as a museum.

The tribute is a joint effort between the Barren County Veterans Association and the Glasgow Renaissance Committee.

A city ordinance was drafted and required two readings with votes before Russell could adopt the new title.
