Troopers say an unknown white male driving a black Lincoln Navigator, backed up to a trailer that was parked at 989 Richpond Rockfield Road in Warren County, and drove away. Troopers describe the trailer as being a 6x14 single axle, black in color with a green stripe down the side.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has re-opened and is actively investigating the homicide of Twilight Crooks which took place nearly 20 years ago. With the recent assistance of the FBI’s forensic team and newer technology, we are hopeful that we will be able to identify the DNA of anyone associated with the death or disposal of Twilight Crooks body.
Police say an unidentified woman has entered several local businesses, claiming to be an employee of local government. She then purchases lawncare/landscaping type items (chain saws, line trimmers, pruners, coolers, etc.) and fraudulently charges those items to government accounts. The suspect is a white female with dark hair. She wears a ponytail up high on her head, and was last seen driving a black Kia Amanti.
The Bowling Green Police Department continues to investigate a homicide and assault that took place at 9:28 p.m. on May 4, 2020. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Tyrikus Boyd, with wounds to the torso area.
The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating the theft of a woman’s wallet, that led to several fraudulent credit card transactions. Police say the victim told them that while shopping at Meijer on November 16, 2020, she discovered someone had stolen her wallet from her purse. She said moments later, she learned her cards had been used at Best Buy, Lowe’s, and Target. The total amount charged to the victim’s cards was more than $5,000 dollars. Three suspects are seen on multiple surveillance images. One has noticeable tattoos on her left hand. They were seen leaving the stores in a newer model SUV.
Bowling Green Police are investigating a shooting that took place at Old Barren River Road and Woodford Street at 8:06 p.m. on December 8, 2020. Police say that as the victim approached the stop sign at this intersection, a dark-colored four-door car drove into the oncoming lane of traffic, and someone began firing what was believed to be a handgun at the victim’s car. Several shots were fired, striking the multiple times, resulting in non-life threatening injuries.

Bowling Green Police are still investigating an unsolved homicide that took place in the early morning hours of September 10, 2018. Police say that at 6:40 a.m. that day, they received a call stating that an acquaintance of the victim, Jotez Beason, had found him deceased in a house at 1328 Stubbins Street.

Bowling Green Police are working a shooting that took place on Sunday August 30, 2020 at the Shell IGA Express at 2258 Russellville Road. Police say they were responding to an assault complaint there, when they were advised that a male subject had fired two shots from a gun. Witnesses told police the altercation began when a black male approached a Hispanic male who was sitting in a SUV at the gas pump
