Little Fox Bakery celebrates three year anniversary with event on the square
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - On Wednesday, Little Fox Bakery celebrated its three-year anniversary. The bakery moved to the square last November.
“It feels a little surreal that we could spend three years having an open and operating business, especially given all of the hurdles we’ve had along the way,” Alison Taylor, a co-owner of the store, said. Alison Taylor owns the store with her mother Diane Taylor.
“The fact that we’ve survived this environment for three years is really huge to us, and we came out of the pandemic better and stronger than ever. So it’s amazing,” Diane Taylor said.
The bakery held an event outside of its storefront Wednesday with refreshments and live music from The Daddy Sisters.
“It’s just our way of showing our things to our customers and seeing all these people come out and enjoy the music and the champagne, and the cake is just really wonderful. We really do love these customers that we see all the time, and they’re the reason we’re here,” Diane Taylor said.
Little Fox Bakery is also a supporter of Hope Harbor, a local non-profit that empowers and supports anyone impacted by sexual trauma. “They’re the one non-profit in Bowling Green that we’ve always supported, and we’ve never done an event where we weren’t supporting them,” Diane Taylor explained.
The owners of Little Fox Bakery also said they were excited to finally host an event with vaccines out, and the pandemic winding down. “It’s so nice to have these people be able to come out here in person and actually celebrate with us,” Alison Taylor said.
